JILA Lecture

Prof. Goswami delivered a lecture at JILA, University of Colorado Boulder, hosted by Prof. Henry Kapteyn, entitled “Ultrafast Science with Shaped Light: Seeing and Steering Matter and Interactions in Real Time”. The talk covered femtosecond optical tweezers, femtosecond thermal lens spectroscopy, and a time-domain theory of femtosecond trapping.

2023

Purdue Seminar

Prof. Goswami gave a seminar at Purdue University in the Birck Nanotechnology Center, West Lafayette, during the lab’s 2023 visit to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Symposium Lecture

Prof. Goswami delivered an invited talk entitled “Observing and Unraveling Nonlinearities and Dynamics at Nanoscales: Chemistry with Femtosecond Lasers” at the IIT Kanpur-La Trobe University online chemistry symposium representing the IIT Kanpur Department of Chemistry.

Invited Lecture

Prof. Goswami delivered an invited lecture at the Biological Physics (iPoLS) seminar at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign entitled “Harnessing ‘shaped’ light for understanding biological applications at the molecular length scale”.

Invited Colloquium

Prof. Goswami delivered an invited seminar at the Harish-Chandra Research Institute on “Quantum Manipulation with Laser Precision: Exploring the Frontiers of Coherent Control”.

Invited Chem/Biochem Seminar

Prof. Goswami was invited to, and delivered an in-person talk for the Chem/Biochem seminar at the University of Iceland where his talk was entitled: “Steering Molecular Destiny: Exploring the Frontiers of Coherent Control in Chemistry”.

Conference Lecture

Prof. Goswami delivered an excellent talk entitled “Quantum Information processing with Femtosecond Laser-Induced Control” at the 5th Quantum Optics and Information Meeting. A recording of the same can be viewed here.

First Virtual Physical Chemistry Seminar at Princeton

Due to COVID-19, Prof. Goswami delivered his lecture entitled “Femtosecond Photothermal Spectroscopy for Molecular Recognition” as the first virtual physical chemistry seminar at his alma-mater, Princeton University, hosted by Prof. Greg Scholes.
